Who we Are
Immanuel Lutheran School is an independent Christian school and is a mission of Immanuel Lutheran Church. We are part of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. We started with a preschool in 1977. We now have preschool through 8th grade and before and after school care.
What we Believe
Student Body
Immanuel has 320 students who represent over 40 area congregations. About 25% of our students and their families are members at Immanuel Lutheran Church. About 10% have no church affiliation. The remainder attend churches in the region that include Catholic, Covenant, Baptist, Reformed, Presbyterian, and non-denominational.
Standardized Test Scores
Immanuel Lutheran School students in 2nd through 8th grade take the Iowa Test of Basic Skills in February each year. Our school's composite score from the February 2009 testing was 96.4%.
Accreditation
Immanuel holds dual accreditation through the National Lutheran Schools Association (NLSA) and North Central Association (NCA).
Location
We are located at 4650 Sunview Drive in north Loveland. This is on the southeast corner of the intersection of Highway 287 and 50th Street.
Why Should I Enroll My Children?
Our children are thrown into a world which is dangerous to their spiritual health. This culture is increasingly hostile to Christianity, absolute truth, and Christian values. Our children are inundated with moral relativism and secular values through television, music, movies, video games, and peer pressure.
Immanuel is an important option for parents seeking an alternative to secular education and is committed to equipping students with a Christian education and perspective which enables them to understand and soar above the pressures of the secular culture.
