How You Can Help

What is the ILS auction?

The ILS Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) has been hosting the annual benefit auction for many years. The auction is the school’s largest fundraiser. All proceeds benefit the children at the school by providing the “extras” such as athletics, lockers, music, library, computers, smart boards, bleachers, etc. Last year, we were able to raise over $30K!

When and where is this year’s benefit auction?

The 2012 Annual Benefit Auction "Bless the Lads and Lasses" will be held on Saturday, March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) at 5 pm in the school’s gymnasium. Watch the weekly Sonshine Line for more information.

What is the theme?

"Bless the Lads and Lasses". It's on St. Patrick's Day, so be sure to wear your green!

What is the dress?

The dress is whatever you want! However, you may want to wear green for St. Patrick's Day!

How do I attend the auction?

Purchase tickets for $20 at the SCRIP window. Your ticket includes the silent auction, live auction and a full dinner.

Is childcare available?

Yes! We will be providing childcare again this year! The cost is $10 per child. The price includes a pizza dinner, dessert, juice, a variety of games and craft activities and a G-rated movie. Children must be potty trained. Childcare must be prepaid at the SCRIP window.

What’s for dinner?

We will start with a sumptuous fare of delicious appetizers out in the atrium during the Silent Auction. The appetizers will include Bagel Crisps with Salmon and Cream Cheese, Irish Tomato Jam on Soda Bread Bruschetta, and Goat Cheese Potato Skins.

As you enter the gymnasium for dinner, you will be served a dinner salad of fresh greens.

The main meal will be a buffet this year that will include Carved Leg of Lamb with Irish Cheddar Potatoes, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Broiled Whitefish in Dilled Cream, Vegetarian Irish Stew, and Bangers and Birds in Guinness (aka Chicken and Sausages stewed in Guinness Stout.

The dessert will be a Parfait of "Mock" Irish Cream and Chocolate Cake.

Is there any entertainment?

This year we are again blessed to have the live music of "The Andrew Vogt Quartet" playing for us, and of course, our MC, Ron, is always a hoot!
