A Message from our Principal – Mr. Joe HallDear Crusader Families:
It is hard to believe how quickly the school year has passed and come to an end. I would like to thank you for your faith, trust, and commitment to the mission of Immanuel Lutheran School. It is your strong commitment to Christian education values that help us to sustain our school. We truly respect the sacrifices each family makes to send their child to ILS, and we will continue to put your child first in everything we do! Although it is a hectic time of year, it is the time when I most realize how blessed we all are to be part of the ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. Parents and teachers commit their time and energy every day toward creating a Christ-centered, nurturing environment in which children can thrive! We wish our eighth grade students all the best as they journey on to new places – our prayers are with you today and in the days to come. Eighth grade graduation is a time for celebration and reflection on the impact faith-based education has made on each student, and parents proudly see their child as an Immanuel Graduate: - A believer in Christ and His sacrifices for us - An effective communicator - A reflective and creative thinker - A self- directed, responsible, life-long learner - A contributor to society who finds meaning, dignity and vocation in work serving all of God's people - A person who practices charity and grace daily - A caring family member - A friend to all In closing, I take this opportunity to congratulate all students of Immanuel Lutheran School. I wish you all a fun, safe, and enjoyable summer. Please be sure to take time as a family to talk, play, and pray together. I look forward to seeing you all in August. Those families who are not returning to our school will continue to be in our prayers as you make your journey on to new places. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to educate your children. In Christ, Mr. Joe Hall Principal jhall@immanuelloveland.org Immanuel Lutheran School |
MS Musical RecapThe Middle School Musical production of “Shake With a Zombie” was a roaring success. Many tables were sold out each night and students shone with their talents – singing, acting, dancing, helping back stage, and assisting with sound. Student actors also served up delicious ‘make your own Sundae’ desserts during Intermission. Thanks for your continued support of the Arts at Immanuel. A Message from ILS PreschoolWe want to thank all of the preschool parents who partnered with us this year for their child’s education. We couldn’t be more grateful for the love and support we have received. We have had a terrific year! We hope you all enjoy your summer and get to relax and spend time with family and friends. We do have childcare available this summer from 7:00 am-6:00 pm Monday-Friday. Kings Kids Camp begins Tuesday, May 28th. For more information about our childcare program, please email us at childcare@immanuelloveland.org. Our first day of preschool for the next school year is Wednesday, August 14th. The school office will be sending out emails periodically throughout the summer with important information and dates. Again, thank you for a wonderful school year and blessing us with your children. Have a terrific summer! Joy in Jesus, Mrs. Gilbert & Mrs. Paterson A Message from Mrs. MeyerIt’s hard for me to fathom that I’ve spent 36 years in the classroom and all of them here at Immanuel. Who knew when I sang here in 1980 with an LCMS college traveling singing group, I’d end up back here in 1983 and spending the majority of my life teaching God’s children, within this congregation. I am thankful for their faith in the call process and the Lord leading me here. I am being led to another profession at this time.
After being my mom’s caregiver for 3 years, as she suffered and then passed away from Alzheimer’s, my heart has been nudged (quite obviously…since I was offered both jobs right after my interviews) to spend time with others facing that same journey. I will be part-time at Marisol Greenhouse Homes memory care where I’ll be a “Homemaker”… which means I get to cook and do activities with the residents! I also will be an activities assistant PRN at Lemay Rehab, in the memory care unit. I want to thank you all for letting me be part of your child’s journey in their education and wish you all the best. - Mrs. Juliet Meyer Box Tops for EducationBox Tops are going digital! If a product bears the Box Top clip, remove and send it to school before the expiration date. If a product bears “NO MORE CLIPPING,” Immanuel will receive 10 cents per Box Top product when the eligible store receipt is scanned with the new and improved Box Top app. The updated Box Tops app should be available in June. Please do not send receipts to school. Currently, a few products have both! It is possible to clip the Box Top and scan the receipt for double earnings. The plan is to have all Box Tops digital by the end of this year. More information regarding the change will be posted here: https://www.boxtops4education.com Clip the Project A+ label on precooked frozen Tyson products and submit it to the Box Tops bin either by the PTF desk in the school office hallway next to the gym or by the desk in the preschool hallway.
