Olivia loves puzzles and making music is like putting a puzzle together. She chose to follow a teaching path after spending her summers helping her father teach swimming and diving lessons. Her fifth grade teacher, Mrs. Greathouse, instilled a love of singing and music in her. She loves being part of a community at Immanuel that values music and its potential. She is thankful that there are many students who will be impacted to be servant-leaders and impact the world for God.
Fun Facts: • Olivia took diving lessons from an Olympian. She stated she was probably too young to realize that she should have had some fear on the high dive. • She was fortunate to go with the American Youth Orchestra to tour 9 countries in Europe when security meant that you reported to chaperones at the right time and cell phones didn’t exist. Olivia and two friends got lost on the Paris metro on Bastille Day and literally went “round and round” the city not knowing where to get off!
