Christian Preschool in Loveland

A Christ-Centered Foundation During the Most Important Years

The preschool years go by faster than anyone expects, and parents know better than anyone how much is happening during that window. Children at this age are learning to talk through their feelings, figure out how to make friends, and start making sense of the world around them, all at the same time. It's a season that shapes a lot of who they'll become, which is why the decision about where to send them feels so significant. Most families aren't just looking for a place that teaches letters and numbers. They're looking for a place where their child will be genuinely cared for, where faith and kindness are part of the everyday rhythm, and where they can feel confident dropping their child off each morning.

At Immanuel Lutheran School, preschool is built around the whole child, not just kindergarten readiness. Teachers help children grow spiritually, socially, emotionally and intellectually within a warm Christian environment, pointing them back to the love of Jesus through prayer, worship, Bible lessons and the small moments that happen throughout an ordinary school day.

What Makes Immanuel Lutheran School Different

Immanuel is committed to helping children grow academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually within a caring Christian environment. Families throughout Loveland appreciate the school's strong sense of community, the personalized attention their children receive and the Christ-centered approach to early childhood education that stays consistent from the first day of preschool forward.

Some of the qualities that help set Immanuel apart include:

  • Faith woven throughout the school day through prayer, Bible lessons, worship and daily interactions
  • Class sizes that allow teachers to personally know and support each child
  • Focus on the development of the whole child, academically, socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually
  • A welcoming school community that encourages strong relationships between families, students and staff
  • Age-appropriate learning experiences that help children build confidence, curiosity and foundational skills for the future

Preschool Programs and Hours

Immanuel offers preschool programs designed for different developmental stages, so children can learn alongside peers their own age while building confidence and foundational skills at a pace that makes sense for where they are.
● Terrific Threes Tuesday and Thursday, 8:15 AM to 11:00 AM
● Fantastic Fours Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:15 AM to 11:00 AM
● Fabulous Fives Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM Wednesday, 11:45 AM to 2:15 PM

Each program balances structured learning, creativity, social development and Christ-centered education. Children participate in developmentally appropriate activities that build academic preparation alongside independence, curiosity and the kind of genuine friendships that make kids excited to come back the next day.

Why Christian Preschool Matters So Much

During the preschool years, children are developing communication skills, learning how to interact with others, building emotional awareness and starting to understand right from wrong. These are some of the most formative years of a child's life, and a Christian preschool gives families the opportunity to place those early lessons within an environment centered on biblical truth, kindness, compassion and faith. Children are reminded daily that they are loved by Jesus, cared for by their teachers and part of a community that encourages respect, patience and character.

Parents often want more than academics during these years, and that's completely reasonable. The reassurance that their child is in a positive environment where values matter; teachers genuinely care and learning happens in a safe and encouraging atmosphere means something that a curriculum alone can't deliver. Loving, encouraging and dedicated teachers make a lasting impact carrying the curriculum to a new level.  At Immanuel, children gain early academic preparation while also building confidence, friendships and a stronger understanding of God's love in ways that tend to stay with them long after preschool ends.
