Childcare

Childcare camp academic

Immanuel Lutheran School's Childcare Program exists to provide a quality Christian environment where children can be nurtured according to God's will. We provide a seamless transition between school and daycare for your child if your schedule prevents you from being at Immanuel during regular drop-off or pick-up times. Our regular hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of most school holidays. Please consult our childcare staff regarding hours on holidays and half-days. Upon availability, all children who attend Immanuel Lutheran School and their younger siblings ages 3 years (and potty-trained) to 14 years will be accepted into Immanuel's Childcare Program.

Registration and Fees

Registration for the school-year childcare program will take place at orientation in August. At the time of registration, each family will be required to sign a contract stating their intent to use the childcare center facilities. This will include the hours and days of service for each child the family wishes to enroll in the program. A non-refundable and non-transferable registration fee of $135 per child is payable at this time. This registration fee will hold your child's spot in childcare for the hours you have contracted. Standard policy requires parents to fill out a new contract, prior to the time of service, if their hours of service change. Prior to attending, the following must be completed:

  • Registration Form
  • Childcare Contract
  • Emergency Card with Authorized Release Persons
  • Immunization Information
  • Physical Form (signed by physician)
  • Registration Fee
  • Permission to Apply Sunblock & Insect Repellent Form

There is a flat rate for childcare of $6.50/hour for contracted service and $10.00/hour for drop-in service. Children arriving before 7:00 a.m. or remaining at the center past 6:00 p.m. will be charged $1.00 for every 1 minute of additional service. Fees are billed on a weekly basis. Care is billed the first business day after the week the childcare was used. Payments are due before the due date set within Blackbaud Tuition Management (formerly Smart Tuition).

Sign-in and Sign-Out

Parents or guardians of students participating in childcare are required to sign in using the book at the childcare center front desk and bring them into the program room. It is the parent's responsibility to see that the group leader or teacher is aware that their child is on the premises. Childcare staff are not responsible for children in the case of accident or injury if the parents have not entered the building and signed their child into the program.

It is important that your child is signed out as they leave with you. Parents who have other adults picking up their children should provide the childcare staff with a written note stating such. These adults must show proof of identification to our staff at the time of pick-up. If any person who is unauthorized to pick up a child comes to the center and requests the child to be released to them, parents will be notified and the child will remain in the care of Immanuel's staff and teachers.

Snacks & Lunch

There will be a nutritious snack provided in the morning and afternoon that will include food and milk or juice. Children may participate in the hot lunch program or bring his or her lunch to school in a container clearly marked with his or her name. A refrigerator is available for storing lunches.

Parent Volunteering

Parents who volunteer at Immanuel Lutheran Church or School will receive free childcare if they sign up their child to use the childcare center one week prior to the date they need service. Volunteering must happen at the church or school during regular childcare hours and appropriate forms must be completed. Field trips or other off-site volunteering does not qualify for free childcare service.

King's Kids Summer Day Camp

Immanuel also has a summer program called King's Kids Day Camp which includes field trips, swimming, and many enrichment activities.
