No. Immanuel Lutheran School welcomes students of all races, backgrounds, and faith traditions. In fact, more than 95% of our students do not come from a Lutheran background. While our teaching is rooted in the Christian faith, we are honored to partner with families from many different churches — and even those simply seeking a Christ-centered education for their children. All families are welcomed with respect, care, and a shared commitment to helping students grow and soar.

We carefully select research-based curriculum that builds strong foundations in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking. Our teachers continually evaluate materials to ensure they are effective, developmentally appropriate, and engaging for students. Programs such as Heggerty, Amplify Math, Handwriting Without Tears, Second Step Social-Emotional Learning, and Simplify Writing help students grow as actively engaged learners — developing confidence, strong skills, and a love of learning that prepares them to soar.

Student safety is a top priority at Immanuel Lutheran School. Our campus remains secured during the school day, with locked doors on the school side and a visitor check-in process that requires valid identification. We conduct regular safety drills throughout the year, including fire, secure-the-perimeter, and lockdown drills, so students and staff are prepared in a calm and age-appropriate way.

All faculty and staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, and our security team meets regularly and is present at public activities. We have implemented additional protective measures, including bullet-resistant glass on the first floor and enhanced campus fencing, to further strengthen our environment. We continually review and update our safety policies to ensure students can focus on learning in a secure, supportive setting.

Tuition varies by grade level, and current rates are available by request or during your visit.

Immanuel Lutheran School is committed to partnering with families so a Christ-centered education is within reach. Need-based tuition assistance is offered on a limited basis and applications are accepted each year during the open assistance window, typically from early February through mid-April. Families apply through an online tool that helps our Tuition Assistance Committee understand financial need, and decisions are made independently from admissions so your child is considered on who they are, not finances.We also partner with outside scholarship opportunities such as ACE Scholarships for eligible students in grades K–12.

Toddler, childcare, preschool, and summer camp programs do not qualify for traditional tuition assistance. We’re happy to talk through options with you during your visit and help you understand what support may be available.

Yes! Immanuel Lutheran School offers before- and after-school childcare to support busy families. Care is available Monday through Friday on school days, with morning care beginning at 7:00 a.m. and after-school care available until 5:30 p.m.

Our childcare program provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, complete homework, and enjoy age-appropriate activities under caring supervision. It’s a consistent, supportive extension of the school day — giving families both flexibility and peace of mind.
