Genesis Virtual Academy is an education program of Mayer Lutheran High School. Mayer Lutheran High School is accredited by Advanc-ED and National Lutheran Schools Accreditation. Mayer Lutheran High School issues diplomas to students who successfully complete Mayer Lutheran High School’s graduation requirements through Genesis Virtual Academy.

Each course offered is typically 18 weeks long. Students have the ability and are encouraged to complete assignments at their pace within that period of time. This means students can do each subject each day, or block schedule to focus on specific subjects each week. Genesis Virtual Academy provides the framework yet allows students to adapt it to their schedules and learning differences.

The teachers host live online classes, focusing on current content objectives and learning together as a class. Can’t make the live class? No problem, each one is recorded so students can attend on their schedule, or revisit the class to reinforce what they learned. Students also post to learning forums, and are able to meet one-on-one with
the teacher during weekly office hours.

Immanuel Lutheran High School is an educational ministry of Immanuel Lutheran Church. We are thankful for the partnership in ministry. Our church leadership has spoken into many aspects of our high school program, and we look forward to opportunities for our church leaders and congregation to interact with our students. Students at ILHS will also have opportunities to deepen their Christian community by participating in Youth Ministry events at ILC including Youth Midweeks, movie nights, NOCO Youth Nights, and more.
